Person-centred counselling, a journey we take together

My Services

Free Consultation

I only offer online and telephone sessions from the comfort of your own home, and evening appointments are available. Taking the first step toward counselling can feel overwhelming, which is why I offer a free consultation to help you explore whether this support is right for you. This initial conversation is a relaxed and confidential space where you can share what’s on your mind, ask questions, and learn more about how counselling may benefit you. There’s no pressure or obligation, it’s simply an opportunity for us to connect and see if working together feels like the right fit for your needs.

Person-centred counselling

Person-centred counselling is a humanistic, client-led approach to therapy developed by psychologist Carl Rogers. It emphasises creating a safe, non-judgemental, and empathetic environment where the individual is accepted unconditionally and encouraged to explore their own thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I will support you in finding your own solutions, promoting emotional well-being, increased self-awareness, and autonomy in coping with current and future challenges.

What topics do I cover?

I cover a range of topics, including: financial abuse, relationship issues and interpersonal communication, Life transitions and changes (e.g., career changes, moving, retirement), personal growth and self-discovery, grief and bereavement (not always linked to mental illness), managing anger and emotional regulation, building self-confidence and self-esteem, improving work-life balance and lifestyle choices. These are only some of the many topics I come across whilst speaking with clients.
